Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant position in a long-term care setting located in Fargo, North Dakota. This travel, temporary assignment starts on 05/25/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,268 to $1,326 with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a Day shift. The role supports residents in a nursing home environment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Responsibilities
- Provide PTA-directed therapy under supervision to residents in a long-term care setting, following the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, balance activities, and manual techniques as prescribed.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, strength-building activities, and ROM exercises to improve functional outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress, document session notes, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy area and ensure proper equipment operation and infection control.
- Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to integrate rehabilitation goals into daily resident care plans.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in North Dakota or eligible for licensure in North Dakota.
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to the prescribed plan of care.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with a Day shift in a long-term care setting.
