Position Title: Server
Location: Seventy Seven Alley and/or Walker Rooftop
Reports To: General Manager / Floor Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Server to join our front-of-house team. This role is responsible for delivering warm, attentive, and highly personalized service while creating memorable guest experiences from arrival through departure.

The ideal candidate is confident on the floor, knowledgeable about food and beverage, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A successful Server brings professionalism, strong menu knowledge, a sense of urgency, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional, attentive, and gracious service to all guests throughout the dining experience
  • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with confidence and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of all food, beverage, wine, cocktail, and specialty menu offerings
  • Make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams
  • Ensure proper pacing of courses and maintain awareness of table timing throughout service
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly, professionally, and with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Maintain table appearance and cleanliness throughout service, including resetting and detailing as needed
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
  • Support side work, opening duties, closing duties, and overall floor readiness
  • Collaborate closely with captains, runners, bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure smooth service execution
  • Uphold service standards, cleanliness standards, and brand presentation at all times
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant, upscale or high-volume preferred
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktail familiarity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hospitality standards
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support all areas of service as needed
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • NYC food handler certification or equivalent, if required by local law
