Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant in Sheridan, Wyoming. Start date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,418-$1,510 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Setting: long-term care (nursing home). This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assist with patient evaluations and contribute to treatment planning.
- Implement PT interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, range of motion, and functional mobility tasks.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and promptly communicate changes to the supervising clinician.
- Ensure patient safety during activities, apply proper body mechanics, and manage the use of assistive devices.
- Prepare treatment areas, set up equipment, assist with patient positioning and transfers as appropriate, and maintain clean, organized spaces.
- Adhere to infection control practices and protect patient confidentiality and data accuracy.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Wyoming or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision of a licensed physical therapist and follow established treatment plans.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Availability to work the listed shift (Days) for a 13-week travel assignment and willingness to fulfill travel requirements.
