Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Hamlin, TX, starting 06/01/2026. Earn $1,466–$1,572 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week in a day shift (8-hour days) at a long-term care/nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of physical therapists, treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patients’ progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist.
- Implement treatment plans and adjust as directed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor patient responses, ensure safety during therapy sessions, and support functional mobility and balance activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and update patient records in accordance with policies and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with the physical therapy team and care staff to coordinate care and communicate patient status.

Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license or Compact license (required)
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
