This expansive exhibition looks at the characters and stories from comics that have defined America's perception in the public consciousness, and how the industry's creators brought their own cultural backgrounds and personal experiences to bear in their work
The intern will create hand drawn sketches based on the works found in the exhibition, discuss comics and comic style sketching techniques, and assist visitors in creating sketches of their own. We are looking for candidates that are passionate about creating warm, welcoming arts education experiences for visitors of all ages (2 to 102!) and have interest and experience with comic sketching.
