Job Description

Our client, a growing company in Costa Mesa, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced setting.

• Salary: $50k-60k + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities, including AP, reconciliations, and cash activity
• Support revenue tracking and POS system integrations
• Assist with payroll inputs, monthly reporting, and variance analysis
• Contribute to close processes, budgeting, and forecasting
• Handle sales tax filings and maintain compliance with internal controls
• Partner on ad hoc projects, process improvements, and occasional admin/HR support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and reporting
• Experience with accounting software and Excel; POS systems a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
