Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to support the VA Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) program, specifically the VALERI (VA Loan Electronic Reporting Interface) system. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce-based solutions that support loan servicing, default management, loss mitigation, and compliance tracking for VA-guaranteed home loans.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations, along with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced federal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions
• Implement complex business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation
• Build and maintain secure integrations with external systems
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and federal compliance standards
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment processes, and system configurations
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues across environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce or software development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Apex Development
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce APIs & Integrations
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance

Education (one of the following):

• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years experience
• OR Associate Degree + 7 years experience
• OR High School Diploma + 9 years experience

Certifications (Required or within 90 days):

• Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Administrator

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II / Advanced Admin / App Builder
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Git)
• Experience supporting federal government projects
• Knowledge of Salesforce security, compliance, and FedRAMP+
• Experience with Oracle EBS / external integrations (plus)
