Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Home Care Nurse with at least 1 year of experience to provide exceptional in-home nursing care to patients in Allen Park, MI and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized nursing services to support patients' health and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes following physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as required.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and health maintenance.
• Document all nursing care and patient progress accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards of care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in home health care or related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on home visits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Allen Park and surrounding areas.
