Job Title: Registered Echo Tech/ Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Brooklyn, NY - 11203

Shift: Day Shift (5x8s) | 40 hours/week

Start Date: 04/27/2026

Job Type: Contract (8 Weeks with the possibility of extension )

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer to join a reputable acute care facility in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience performing cardiac ultrasound procedures and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care. Pediatric cardiac experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Assist in stress testing procedures (preferred)
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer
  • Experience in pediatric cardiac sonography preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited ultrasound/sonography program
  • Required Certifications (one of the following):

RDCS (ARDMS)

RCS (CCI)

  • BLS certification (preferred)
