Your mission

As a full-time, hourly Mold Setup & Process Operator reporting to the Production Supervisor, youll keep our injection molding operation running flawlessly. Youll switch gears quickly, master new tasks, and deliver consistent quality shift after shift.

Make an impact by

• Starting up and shutting down injection presses according to procedure, then keeping them on schedule.
• Jumping on alarms and resolving issues fast to minimize downtime.
• Executing interval-based quality checksbingo trays, visual reviews, and perform checksand logging all results.
• Documenting production activity and any process adjustments in real time.
• Packaging and tagging finished goods accurately.
• Diagnosing and correcting process or accessory equipment issues.
• Carrying out mold PM and daily/weekly sanitizing of molds and machines.
• Performing product changeovers and precise color changes using Plastracm Movacolor and Wittman.
• Raising work orders for machine, mold, or safety concerns and recording issues in the OPS tracker.
• Setting up lines and confirming them against Docushare requirements.
• Keeping master cleaning schedules current; recording cleaning/housekeeping in SPC.
• Collecting scrap during the shift and at close, weighing, and entering data into the system.

Operate with discipline

• Own safetyfinish every task without injury.
• Follow GMPs consistently (no jewelry, cell phone, nicotine in any form, etc.).
• Immediately report any food safety issue to a manager or supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping throughout your shift.
• Lift 35 pounds unassisted and remain standing/walking for the full shift.
• Dispose of scrap correctly and initiate corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Spot and submit improvements through the See It, Sort It, Report It system.
• Wear required PPE and pivot to new tasks or areas as customer demand changes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

• Basic math and computer comfort
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skill
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Minimum 1 year of injection molding manufacturing experience (required)
• High school diploma (preferred)
