Responsibilities
- Essential Functions
- Routes shipments and process shipments for distribution center.
- Schedules and coordinates inventory shipments from main warehouse to offsite warehouses.
- Has knowledge of best practices, most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods.
- Provides freight rate quotes for outbound shipments.
- Monitors all Traffic desk tickets and completes all customer service requests.
- Initiates all investigations of damages, shortages or over charges for freight for customer service.
- Assists with returns and shipping damage complaints from customer service or CRM.
- Assists with all carrier claims for shipping issues.
- Assist in scheduling shipments and notifies customer service of delays or issues.
- Assist with Export paperwork and ensures all export documentation is complete.
- Assists with warehouse inventory counts on a routine basis.
- Assist shipping and receiving departments when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The essential functions of this role include:
