Clinician/Social Worker, Families Work
POSITION OVERVIEW
Masters Level Clinician, Families
The Clinician position will maintain a caseload of ten families and meet with each on a weekly basis for two to three hours. Families Work provides an average of twelve months (actual length of stay is dependent on the needs of the family) of home and community-located avoidance services to families with youth who are either at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for youth, shorten length of foster care placement, address safety issues, reduce risk of future abuse/neglect, and improve child and family functioning.

»As part of a clinical team, this job offer will identify and discuss the strengths, risk factors, and service needs that may impact the health and safety of the client/family through a comprehensive assessment, as well as develop treatment goals and methods to address areas of identified need.
»Paperwork, case management, phone calls, and meetings with other providers are completed in order to support the family.

Your practice and Qualification:
»Masters degree in social work, mental health counseling, or equivalent from a graduate school program.
» 0 - 2 years post-masters practice
