We are currently searching for a Front Desk Agent - Overnight Why Work With Us? * It’s a fun company to work for! * We recognize efforts and reward results * Great benefits package, including industry leading 401K * Promotional opportunities with a growing company Responsibilities * Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs * Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments * Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations * Address and resolve guest concerns professionally * Maintain accurate guest records and room key inventory * Support front desk operations as needed Requirements: * Experience with an IHG branded hotel highly desired * Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time * Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system. Education & Experience: * High School diploma or equivalent required * Stable work history required * Strong understand of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Need to be a team player – if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won’t be a good fit for you! * Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly * Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure * Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary * Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests HMC is an equal opportunity employer.
