Job Summary

Are you an energetic and honest individual looking for an Executive Housekeeping position? Do you thrive in a fun and fast paced environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated housekeeping manager to join our South Portland team to oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations at Best Western Merry Manor Inn. Our housekeeping team ranges from 5 to 25 team members, depending on the season.

Daily Duties

• Inspecting rooms
• Assist supervisors/inspectors with their tasks
• Scheduling & room assignments
• Training and coaching new hires and ongoing coaching
• Ongoing communication with front office and maintenance departments
• Ensuring high quality cleanliness standards
• Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
• Performing various housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning windows as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Strong communication and leadership skills
