Dialysis Technician– Correctional facility

cTrace Solutions is seeking a Dialysis Technician in Orient, Ohio. This role offers competitive pay, weekly compensation, and Sign on bonus. 

Location: Orient, OH

Compensation: $28 per hour (DOE) plus $200 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: 6:15 am- 2:15 pm / Days off will be every Sunday and EITHER Tues, or Wed. (second day off will be set during orientation.)

Contract length: 6 months (High likelihood of extension)

Key responsibilities:

• Obtains and documents pre-dialysis vital signs to include weight and temperature Inspects patient’s dialysis access and inserts needed and initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription
• Prepares dialysate according to established procedures and patient’s prescription
• Measures, calculates and adjusts blood flow rates according to established protocols and prescription
• Administers anticoagulant according to unit protocols and prescription
• Changes fluid removal rate and patient position and administers Normal Saline as directed by RN, ALP order or unit protocol.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Ohio DT License
