We are seeking a skilled Contract Full Stack Data Solutions Engineer to enhance and support our enterprise-wide reporting and analytics program. This role focuses on designing and managing data pipelines (ETL), building conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and delivering reliable, high-quality reporting solutions. The ideal candidate blends strong technical expertise with a clear understanding of business needs to make data-driven insights accessible across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse source systems (ERP, CRM, work order management, etc.).
Build and maintain scalable data models (conceptual, logical, physical) to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting.
Develop, maintain, and document standardized reporting solutions, including paginated reports and interactive dashboards.
Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and clear technical documentation for pipelines and data models.
Monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and pipeline performance; proactively troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into reliable data solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
Education / Experience:
3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, database design, or data architecture.
Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines with platforms like Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar tools.
Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale data models.
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
Strong attention to detail, with focus on data accuracy, formatting consistency, and reliability.
Disciplined documentation practices, including versioning of data logic, reports, and changes.
Experience working in team environments with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices for data solutions.
Preferred Skills / Abilities:
Budget and cost data experience, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial metrics.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including workspace management and semantic model development.
Familiarity with Power BI as a visualization tool.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing using Spark, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
