This opportunity is designed for a high-performing financial leader with a strong trajectory who is ready to step into a broader, more visible enterprise with hospital and medical group leadership role—where decisions move quickly, partnerships matter, and impact is immediate.

  • Drive performance improvement across revenue cycle, cost structure, and operational efficiency
  • Present financial insights and strategy to the Board of Trustees
  • Build and develop a high-performing, accountable finance team
  • Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities, service line expansion, and strategic partnerships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in navigating the evolving healthcare landscape

This role is ideal for a finance leader ready to expand scope, visibility, and enterprise influence.

The successful candidate is someone who:

  • Brings both strategic perspective and operational execution
  • Builds strong relationships across clinical and operational teams
  • Leads with accountability, integrity, and professionalism
  • Is resourceful, resilient, and solutions-oriented
  • Leverages data and technology to drive performance and decision-making
  • Is motivated by the opportunity to build, improve, and make a lasting impact

This organization values leaders who:

  • Lead through partnership, transparency, and empowerment
  • Invest in developing people and future leaders
  • Foster collaboration across departments
  • Balance innovation with disciplined financial stewardship

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred
  • CPA or equivalent designation preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Hospital Healthcare financial leadership experience required
  • Experience in community-based, rural, or independent systems strongly preferred (50-200 bed size hospital/multi-site clinics)

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true enterprise CFO role—with the ability to influence strategy, operations, and the future of a community-focused health system.
