CPA firm seeks highly detailed and financially-minded individual for open position.

• Payroll, payroll quarterly and annual reporting.
• Posting and reconciling bank and credit card statements.
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compilation services.

Payroll experience refers to the ability to calculate payroll, to calculate payroll overtime rules, schedule tax deposits with the IRS and applicable states, and to file the quarterly and annual reports. The skills are more detailed than submitting the hours worked to a payroll service and the interaction with clients makes the job interesting and rewarding. The applicant will work daily with partners and coworkers and have an opportunity for broad exposure to a variety of accounting activities.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a CPA or bookkeeping firm would be ideal but is not required.
• Must demonstrate attention to details, willingness to learn, and team cooperation.
