Bookkeeper

De‑El Enterprises, Inc. | Full-Time | Monroe, WA

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Hours may be adjusted based on departmental needs. (Some flexibility required.)

About the Role:

De‑El Enterprises is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our Accounting Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. You will manage daily accounting tasks and serve as the primary contact for customer billing questions.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts.
• Monitor financial activity and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare financial statements (daily through annual).
• Manage State and City tax filings.
• Maintain accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Track and renew business licenses.
• Support annual audits by coordinating with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Completing yearly Censuses.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.

What You Bring:

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization).
• Experience with accounting or financial software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, especially regarding customer billing questions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and occasionally kneel or crouch.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
