The Granola Bar is a fast-growing restaurant group built around elevated comfort food, strong coffee, a vibrant bar offering, and the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel like they’ve found their place. Our newest location on Madison Avenue will open soon, and we are building the team that will make it legendary.

Position Overview

We are looking for Baristas who know that a great café experience is about more than making a good drink. It is about warmth, speed, consistency, and the small moments that make guests feel known.

This role is for someone who takes pride in quality beverages, genuine guest connection, and helping set the tone for the day from the very first interaction.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages to company standards

· Execute beverage orders accurately, efficiently, and consistently

· Welcome guests warmly and help create a friendly, hospitality-driven café experience

· Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, modifications, and guest preferences

· Build natural connections with new and regular guests

· Keep the café station stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service

· Maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and small equipment according to procedure

· Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, cash handling, and workplace safety standards

Requirements

· Prior barista, café, bartending, serving, or guest-facing restaurant experience required

· Strong hospitality skills and comfort interacting with guests

· Ability to prepare beverages consistently and follow recipes

· Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork

· Reliable availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Food handler certification required where applicable
