Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and enroll prospective students and employees. This role represents the organization at outreach events, builds relationships with EMS/Fire agencies and community partners, and guides prospective students/employees to the application process to support enrollment goals. This position will require overnight travel at times.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets.
  • Represent the organization at high school visits, community events, and virtual information sessions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, tradeshows, and new employers.
  • Communicate with prospective students/organizations via phone, email, text, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide accurate information about academic programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid options.
  • Collaborate with admissions, marketing, operations, and financial aid teams to support recruitment initiatives.
  • Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports on outreach and conversion efforts.
  • Manage tradeshow registrations, set-up, and supply orders.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: 

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in education, communications, marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or education industries.
  • 2 years of recruitment experience.
  • Experience with software integrations and project management platforms (e.g. Smartsheet, Zendesk, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Entra).
  • Experience with multi-faceted network-related software and database management systems.
  • Experience multi-tasking with the ability to manage competing demands, set priorities, and provide timely responses to urgent issues.
  • Experience problem-solving.
  • Experience adapting to new conditions and assignments.
  • Experience in customer service, building strong relationships to be able to interact with students, staff, and the public in a pleasant, tactful, and courteous manner.

Certification and Licensure

  • State driver license.
