## **Job Title: Accounting Specialist & Bookkeeper (CPA/CFO Level Support)**

**Part-Time | 20 Hours/Week | EST Time Zone**

We are looking for a high-level **Accounting Specialist** to act as a fractional controller's right hand. This role supports a fractional CFO firm and a suite of 7-8 internal businesses. We need someone who doesn't just "do the books" but understands high-level financial strategy and accounting compliance.

### **What You’ll Be Doing**

* **Advanced Financial Administration:** Manage and review books for multiple internal entities with 100% accuracy.
* **Compliance & Strategy Documentation:** Assist in documenting advanced tax planning strategies (e.g., Augusta Rule).
* **Contract & Legal Admin:** Draft professional contracts based on CFO instructions and ensure all corporate documentation is signed and filed.
* **Transaction Management:** Accurately categorize transactions and manage receipt attachments within **QuickBooks Online**.
* **System Oversight:** Build and maintain clean financial systems and spreadsheets that allow for high-level review.
* **Standard Operating Procedures:** Create and maintain detailed SOPs for all accounting workflows to ensure consistency.

We sometimes ask for flexible support on related tasks, but nothing outside your skill set—and always with clear communication.

### **Tools You’ll Use**

* **QuickBooks Online** (Advanced mastery required)
* **Excel** (Advanced formulas and data organization)
* **Zoho One / Zoho CRM**
* **Loom / Zoom** (For reporting and process documentation)

### **What We’re Looking For**

* **Accounting Excellence:** Degree in Accounting or CPA/CFO-level experience is strongly preferred.
* **Critical Thinking:** Able to interpret "high-level strategy" and execute the "nitty-gritty" compliance pieces independently.
* **Precise and Detail-Focused:** Ryan has a "compliance brain" and expects work to be done correctly the first time.
* **The "80% Rule":** A self-starter who can get a project 80% finished before needing a final review.
* **Highly Organized:** Able to manage multiple business sets without losing track of details.

### **Working Hours and Rate**

* **Part-time:** 20 hours per week (to start).
* **Schedule:** Flexible within EST business hours (e.g., 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST).
* **Rate:** $15 – $20+ per hour (depending on CPA/CFO-level experience).

* Complete confidence for the CFO to focus on client strategy rather than data entry.
