Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

Accounting & Financial Support

• Support monthâend and yearâend close activities
• Perform account reconciliations (clearing accounts accruals prepaid expenses etc.)
• Review and resolve accounting discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
• Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules and supporting documentation

Operations & Vendor Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for accounting and payable related questions from operations
• Field inquiries from vendors regarding account status documentation and issue resolution
• Research and resolve payment coding or account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather missing information and close open items
• Exercise judgment to escalate issues appropriately and recommend solutions

Process & Controls

• Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements to reduce rework
• Support documentation of workflows and accounting practices
• Assist with special projects and process enhancements as the department grows

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 3 years of experience in accounting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft products particularly Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively
